Getting back into blogging

i took a big break from blogging...and harry potter as a matter of fact. im a firm believer in the fact that when something like this becomes an obligation and not a source of joy its time to let it go for a bit. if you're blogging and crafting as an obligation and you're not infusing it with love then i feel like the readers know that. its phoned in and who wants to read THAT kinda post or get that kinda hand made swap package?

I think the stress of running my own swap on ravelry burned me out. i did it for a few terms and passed it off cause id never planned on running a swap and had it dropped in my lap due to other circumstances. i tried to take it and run with it but as a gal with a full time job, and a business of my own, and friends, and activities in the non magical world on top of that i just couldn't keep all those balls in the air. i got burnt out

The point to all this is that its ok to go away for awhile and then to come back rejuvenated no matter what your hobby is. i blog for the fun of blogging. i craft HP for the creativity and love of creating and love of the magical world that Rowling gifted us with. i miss the community of friends that center around these similar loves and now im back. refreshed and ready to magic up some crafty goodies.

i hope the friends that have been long missing in my life and the ones who have kept in touch will meet me at Madame Puddifoots Teashop for a visit and a catch up. if you cant make it there stop by one of these other magical locations and say hi to me :0)
